North Eastern Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2024-2025: Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), North Eastern Railway (NER), Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) invites applications from eligible Indian citizens (outstanding Sports Persons) for recruitment of Level 2/3/4/5 Group ‘C’ posts and Level-1 (Erstwhile Group ‘D’) posts for filling up 49 Vacancies against Sports Quota for the Year 2024-25. ✅ Pay Scales: Pay Band-I ₹ 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay ₹ 1800 / ₹ 1900 / ₹ 2000 / ₹ 2400 / ₹ 2800/-
✅ Age Limit: 18 – 25 years as on 01-01-2025. No age relaxation.
✅ Minimum Educational Qualifications:
(A) For the post having GP-Rs. 1800:For Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical and Signal & Telecom department:- 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT or 10th pass plus ITI. For other department:- Matriculation (10th pass) or ITI or its equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
(B) For the posts having GP-Rs.1900/2000: Pass in 10+2 or its equivalent.
(C) For the post having GP-Rs. 2400 (Technical): Pass 10+2 in Science i.e. Maths or Physics or equivalent.
(D) For the post having GP-Rs. 2800: A university Degree or its equivalent.

✔️ Category- A -> Olympic Games (Senior Category) Asian Games (Gold medallist)
✔️ Category-B -> World Cup (Junior /Senior Category) World Championships (Junior /Senior Category), Asian Games (Senior Category), Common wealth Games (Senior Category)
✔️ Category-C -> Common wealth Championships (Junior/Senior Category) Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category) South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category) USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category)
✅ Recruitment Process: The recruitment will be based on performance in trial and evaluation of sports and educational achievements.
✅ Examination Fee:
✔️ ₹ 250/- for SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Women, Minorities and Economically BC.
✔️ ₹ 500/- for all other candidates.

➢ Candidates must upload his/her scanned recent photograph and signature while filling the application form.
